Marvel will prove just relative death in the Avengers 4

Marvel will prove just relative death in the Avengers 4

There is a phrase called comic book deaths for comic book deaths where dead characters rise to life. This game is no stranger to Marvel, as we look back from Bucky to Nick Fury, from Happy Hogan to Pepper Potts.

Knowing the subjectivity of the audience, Kevin Feige has warned "some deaths in the Infinity War will be permanent" and "people need to be careful what they desire." The co-writer of the Infinity War, Christopher Markus, asserts that the deaths are real and that the audience accepts them as early and often as possible.

Of course, in order to take the risk of making this statement, the studio will have to deal with a lot of issues related to timeline and reorganization of the character system (not to mention the reaction of the audience). We can see this in the context of the upcoming MCU movies: Ant-Man & the Wasp takes place before the Infinity War, while Captain Marvel will mark the 90s. All right.

What Marvel should do if you want to behave "right"

Constructing the deaths most convincingly, Marvel wants the audience to have a true emotional experience when the film closes. Markus once said, "Clearly, when audiences are overwhelmed and articles that teach your child's way of life through the shock of the Infinity War, what you know is not important."

But this will not last long. The ending of Spider-Man in the Infinity War has really made the marketing process for the aftermath of Homecoming into a dead end. That is not to say that Spider-Man will be alive after the Infinite War.

The death of Marvel characters has recently been criticized for playing with the emotions of the audience. Though doubt is long, how do we react if we know that the whole end in the Infinity War is just as elusive as a joke? The danger is there. If the deaths in the Infinite War are fake, it will be very difficult to push the viewer's emotions up.

Maybe this is the time Marvel should revisit his strategy, instead of pulling the audience with open words they should consider admitting there are superhero characters will actually return in the Avengers 4 Otherwise this would be a gamble that studio is easy to be "countered" when exposed to the viewer.
